Fraud and failure do occur however and they have negative implications on the overlord, the client, the professional body, and society as a whole. This is just one incident of fraud and negligence that has occurred in professional accounting bodies. Therefore, to withstand the integrity and respect of the CGA profession, it is crucial that members a lways act in accordance with the CGA Canada Code of Ethical Principles.
